    FGO Prize $2,000

    This year, Fort Greene's conducting workshop will feature an exciting competition where the best conductor will be awarded a full scholarship. The winner will be determined by a combined vote: 50% from the orchestra members and 50% from the teacher. At the end of the course, each orchestra member will receive a rating sheet to evaluate conductors based on several parameters. The conductor with the highest overall score will receive the prestigious Fort Greene Orchestra Prize of $2,000, and will be added to the roster of assistant conductors of the FGO for the season.

Application is finalized upon receipt of the application fee. The application fee will be credited toward tuition for accepted students who attend the program.
